Will Smith in Russia and the new Iron Man 3

Walt Disney Studios Sony Pictures Releasing in fact opened the 90th International cinema market in Moscow. The main event was the announcement of the arrival to Moscow and St. Petersburg of Will Smith with his son to the premiere of the film "After Earth" and also the demonstration of the 30 min fragment of "Monsters University" with the preface of the director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae. 


The representatives of Pixar arrived to Moscow to tell about their brainchild. Dan Scanlon and Kori Rae told that the crew of animators visited the most famous Universities of the USA while preparing for. The animation is about the beginning of the friendship of James P. "Sulley" Sullivan and Mike Wazowski from "Monsters, Inc.". The premiere of the film will be in June. The director and the producer not only presented the exclusive fragment, but also made a press conference with the journalists.

In "Monsters, Inc." the relations between Mike and Sulley seemed to be very interesting for the public, thou the idea to tell the story of their acquaintance did not come at once. The children that watched the film in 2001, now have grown up and become students. So, the problems of 18-year Mike and Sulley will be close to them. 

For the "Monsters University" the animators of Pixar created about 300 characters of monsters for the mob scenes. Each one had got the name of the members of the camera crew, so every person had got his personal monster. 

On Disney presentations, the representatives of the company have announced that they are going to bring one of the creators of "Iron Man 3" to Moscow for the demonstration of 20 min fragment of the film. The cinemas were shown a 15 min fragment with the uncompleted graphics.


Sony Pictures announced about the arrival of Will Smith together with his son Jaden to the premiere of the fantasy drama "After Earth" by M. Night Shyamalan. It is expected that the actors will visit not only Moscow but also St. Petersburg.

The list of the other releases of the Company consists of "Evil Dead" by the producer Sam Raimi, "White House Down" by Roland Emmerich, "The Smurfs 2" by Raja Gosnell, "2 Guns" by Baltasar Kormakur, "This Is the End" by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, "Captain Phillips" by Paul Greengrass. On August 29, 2013 will be shown "Grown Ups 2" and on October 17, 2013 will be released "The courier from the heaven".
