Delvon Roe

Born in Ohio to the parents of Tracy and Delvon Blanton. He grew up playing sports, but took a particular interest in Basketball where he received a scholarship to attend Michigan State University to play College basketball. It wasn't until his Sophomore year of college where he became fond of acting. While participating in a collegiate theatre class, another student suggested that Delvon consider following acting as a profession. Delvon began by acting in school plays (Upright Position and Shakespeare's As You Like It) where he was spotted by the director of his first film, AWOL. After being offered a role in the film Delvon spent 5 weeks shooting the project in Southeast Michigan. On the set of AWOL a casting director saw Delvon and asked him to audition for a small role in a new film Gametime.

After an impressive audition they then had him read for the principle role of Malik which he was eventually cast. Delvon continues to pursue challenging and exciting work. Delvon only played 3 years with Michigan State before he was forced to retire because of chronic knee problems. Now with his athletic build and artistic training he pursues work as a professional actor.
